- Refer to clinicians using both their first and last name.
- Use the language Prescriber or Therapist.
- Refrain from using the language 'healthcare provider’.
- Refrain from providing any clinical advice.
Translation services
| ℹ️ We partner with LanguageLine to provide on-demand interpreter services and translation to clients. This service is available to Clinicians only, but we can educate clients about it if they inquire about our offerings. |
| 🗒️ Clients also have the option of completing a video session non-verbally while messaging with their clinician using an online translator. |
- Clinicians can connect with an interpreter from LanguageLine in less than 30 seconds.
- There are 240+ audio languages available, including ASL.
- 24/7 tech support is available.
Client clinical resources
CBT Exercises
| ℹ️ Clients have access to CBT exercises under the ‘Discovery’ tab in their account, which they can complete or redo at any time. They can decide to share them with their care team or not. If shared, the client’s care team will be able to click on the link to the CBT log in their EMR. |

| ℹ️ Clients have access to an AI journaling bot, which guides them through the journaling process and prompts them to schedule sessions. |
Assessment requests
| ℹ️ Once a client has received their clinical diagnosis, they will automatically be sent one of the assessments below to complete. Most assessments are automatically sent to clients on a monthly basis to track progress. |

Lab requests
| ℹ️ Lab work may be necessary based on Clinical judgment for clients on certain medications or service lines. Clients agree to the Terms and Conditions for lab services that can be viewed here [Section 1.6]. |
- Cerebral partners with Quest Labs for clients to get their labs completed.
- If the client has insurance, the client’s insurance will apply to the labs.
- Please note that if there are any applicable co-pays, the client is responsible for payment.
- If the client does not have insurance, Cerebral will pay for the labs.
- If clients are unwilling or unable to go to Quest Labs, they have the option to go to any other lab, but will have to pay for the cost out of pocket.
Medication
| ⚠️ Cerebral does NOT proactively send refills for clients each month. Instead, the client must reach out to request a refill. |
- If a client asks where they can find their medication information, direct them to the ‘Prescriptions’ tab in the Cerebral App or the ‘Prescription Information’ button within the ‘Options’ menu on the Cerebral website.
- If a client asks when they can expect to receive their medication, refer to the ‘Status’ column of the Med Management tab in the EMR.
- Select the purple eye icon on the ‘PharmacyVerified’ button to see a detailed prescription log.
- If a client asks when their next medication refill date is, refer to the ‘Next refill date’ column of the Med Management tab in the EMR.
| ℹ️ If a client has concerns about affording medication that is being sent to a local pharmacy, recommend the use of free prescription coupons from GoodRx.com. |
| ⚠️Clients are NOT able to return medications and should be advised to take any unwanted medication(s) to their local pharmacy for proper disposal. |
CerebralRX
| ℹ️ CerebralRx is our default shipping pharmacy for eligible states. Clients who live in CerebralRX eligible states will have a ‘CerebralRx eligible’ flag in their EMR. |
| 🗒️ Effective 11/20/23, clients who live in CerebralRX eligible states can choose between having their medication sent via CerebralRX or a local pharmacy during sign up. |
| ⚠️ CerebralRX is NOT covered by insurance. |
- If a Prescriber sends medication through CerebralRx, it will show up as ‘CerebralRx’ in their account.
- It may take up to 48 hours to process.
- It may take 5 - 10 business days to ship.
- Once shipped, the client will be automatically notified and tracking information will be available.
- Clients using CerebralRX also have the option to talk directly with a pharmacist on the phone.
- If needed, the phone number is 800-268-7036.
Local pharmacy refills
- If a Prescriber sends medication to a client’s local pharmacy, the local pharmacy name will be shown in the client's account.
- It may take up to 48 hours to process and reflect.
- If there are any issues, encourage the client to contact their pharmacy.
Out of state/bridge refills
| 🗒️ If a client reaches out requesting a medication refill while they are temporarily out of state [but still in the United States], they can send a message to their prescriber via their account to ask for a refill. |
| ⚠️ If a client reaches out requesting a medication refill and notifies us that they have permanently moved, the client will have to be reassigned to a Prescriber that is licensed in their new state of residence. |
