Like all medications, Buspirone (Buspar) can cause side effects, though not everyone experiences them. The more common ones include dizziness, headaches, nausea, lightheadedness, restlessness, and changes in dreams.
In some instances, individuals might notice symptoms like changes in weight or appetite, fainting, or muscle cramps/spasms. Though rare, there can be serious side effects.
Always ask your provider for a complete list of possible side effects and what to watch out for.
