What is Sertraline used to treat?

As a versatile medication, Sertraline (Zoloft) is used to treat a variety of mental health conditions and symptoms that can be managed and improved by rebalancing one’s serotonin levels.

It’s most commonly prescribed to treat depressive disorders and anxiety disorders but can also be an option for those with OCD, PTSD, panic disorder, certain phobias, and premenstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD). Additionally, Sertraline may be prescribed ‘off-label’ for other conditions.
