When you start taking Sertraline, you might experience common side effects like headaches, nausea, diarrhea, dry mouth, increased sweating, nervousness, restlessness, fatigue, sleepiness, or insomnia.
The good news is that these effects tend to improve during the first week or two as your body adjusts to the medication.
There are some long-term sexual side effects and rare serious side effects that you should discuss with your provider.
