Requesting Labs

In some cases, your Prescriber may request that you undergo laboratory testing to assess any number of key indicators related to your health and diagnosis. If your Prescriber requests that you undergo laboratory testing related to Bipolar Disorder specifically, your Prescriber may provide you with a lab referral document - sent through docusign that you may take to a local laboratory to complete your testing. If your Prescriber requests that you undergo testing outside of Bipolar Disorder, you may have to obtain these tests from your primary care provider or a similar physician. In these cases, please request a copy of your medical records to present at the time of your evaluation. 

Sending Labs

In the event that you have obtained your completed labs for Bipolar Disorder, prior authorizations, or any additional required testing, please send a copy or picture of your labs to labwork@getcerebral.com. Labs may also be faxed directly to (415) 508-4106. Once your labs have been uploaded for review, please allow up to two business days for your Prescriber to review and assess your lab records and respond accordingly. 

Please Note: The payment of lab requests is not included in your Cerebral subscription fee and is not offered through Cerebral at present. As such, this may come at an additional incurred expense that may or may not be covered by your insurance carrier.
