To upload new insurance coverage or update your existing insurance information, you can request assistance from our Support team by sending a message from your client account and our dedicated team would be happy to assist you with uploading your insurance information. Alternatively, you can follow the steps below:
- Log in to your Cerebral account by clicking here.
- From the top right corner of the screen, click on the dropdown menu and select "My Account".
- Scroll down to find the "Insurance Information" field where you can make edits or review your coverage.
You will be guided through a step-by-step process to upload your insurance credentials. Here's what you need to do:
- In the first dropdown field, select your Insurance Provider. Please make sure to choose the exact name of your carrier from the list to ensure proper insurance coverage syncing. If you are unsure, it is recommended to contact a representative from your insurance carrier for assistance.
- Next, enter the requested information, which can typically be found on your insurance card or by logging into your insurance carrier's website. The Rx BIN number is different from your Member/Subscriber ID number and is required only if you are using your insurance for medication. If it is not available on your insurance card, you should contact your insurance carrier to confirm their coverage for prescription costs. Make sure to enter your address exactly as it appears on file with your insurance company. If you have recently moved and not updated your address with your insurance company, you will need to contact them to update your address. The insurance plan subscriber is the person who purchased the insurance, either through their workplace or the marketplace. The name entered must match the one on file with your insurance company. If you have had a name change and not updated it with your insurance company, it is necessary to either use your previous name or contact your insurance company to update your name before proceeding.
- After completing the form fields, click "Next". You will then have the option to either upload a saved picture of your insurance card or take a photo directly from your device. It is highly recommended to upload photos of your card to ensure accurate billing and prevent any service delays. Having the insurance card on file increases the likelihood of proper insurance processing and enables your care team to provide effective assistance in the future.
- Once you have uploaded the relevant photos, click "Next". Review the information and photos you entered to ensure accuracy, then check the box and click "Submit".
If the information is successfully processed, you will receive a pop-up notification confirming your eligibility details. If your insurance is listed as "out of network", it means that Cerebral is not yet an in-network provider with your carrier. However, we are actively working towards partnerships with major insurance carriers. You can also request invoices to submit for reimbursement by contacting us through your client account.
If the system fails to retrieve your eligibility information, please double check for any errors in the entered data or contact our Support team for assistance by sending us a message from your account. Our dedicated team is here to address any inquiries you may have.
