Scheduling
If you need to schedule an initial appointment or follow-up appointment with one of your care team members, please follow these steps:
- Log into your Cerebral account and navigate to the Messages tab.
- Once you are in the Messages view, navigate to "Scheduling"
- From there choose "I want to schedule an appointment"
- Here you will see your care team members and any appointments you may already have scheduled. Choose "Schedule Appointment" for whichever care team member you want to meet with.
- Next you will see a calendar with available dates in black. Dates with no available appointment times will be grayed out. Choose an available date that works for your schedule.
- Once you have chosen a date, it will show you the available time slots for that date. Choose a time slot that works for you and then click "Confirm".
You will see a notification confirming that you have made the appointment and it will now show up on your "Appointments & Tasks" tab.
Reschedule or Cancel an Appointment
If you need to reschedule your appointment ahead of time, missed a visit due to unforeseen circumstances, or need to cancel an appointment altogether, you can do so by following these steps:
- Log into your Cerebral account and then navigate to the Messages tab.
- Once you are in the Messages view, navigate to "Scheduling"
- Once there, you can choose from:
- "I need to reschedule my appointment"
- "I missed my appointment"
- or "My clinician missed my appointment"
- You will see a list of your care team members and any appointments you have scheduled. You can choose "Reschedule" or "Cancel".
- If you choose to reschedule, you will be taken to the care team member's calendar to pick a new date and time. If you choose to cancel, you will see a screen asking you confirm you want to cancel the appointment.
- Choose "Yes, cancel appointment" and you will get a confirmation notice that your appointment has been cancelled.
- Alternatively, you may click here to be taken directly to the Appointments & Tasks tab and reschedule or cancel appointments from there.
Other Options
You may also contact your Care Team directly via the chat function in your Cerebral profile to assist you with your appointment. In most cases, they will also send you a message that includes a link to reschedule your visit. If you have any trouble rescheduling or have concerns about the wait time, reach out via chat, email, or phone for further assistance.
It’s best to reschedule or cancel a visit before you miss it. So if you know ahead of time that you can’t make an appointment, please reschedule it through your Cerebral profile or on the app.
