If you need to reschedule your appointment ahead of time, missed a visit due to unforeseen circumstances, or need to cancel an appointment altogether, you can reschedule an appointment by following these steps:
- Log into your Cerebral account and then navigate to the Appointments & Tasks tab.
- The Appointments & Tasks tab is located in the options menu at the top right corner of your account.
- From here, you will be able to complete any outstanding tasks and reschedule your visit.
- Alternatively, you may click here to be taken directly to the Appointments & Tasks tab.
You may also contact your Therapist, Care Counselor, or Clinical Coordinator directly via the chat function in your Cerebral profile to assist you in rescheduling or canceling your appointment. In most cases, they will also send you a message that includes a link to reschedule your visit. If you have any trouble rescheduling or have concerns about the wait time, reach out via chat, email, or phone for further assistance.
It’s best to reschedule or cancel a visit before you miss it. So if you know ahead of time that you can’t make an appointment, please reschedule it through your Cerebral profile or on the app.
Please note: You will be charged a fee for any missed visits. The fee is $30 for insurance clients and $15 for self-pay clients. If you fail to cancel or reschedule a visit within the specified time frame (3 hours prior for insurance clients and 24 hours prior for self-pay clients) you will also be charged the missed visit fee. Any missed appointments may result in delays to your treatment plan and the timely delivery of your medication; in some cases, prescriber follow-up appointments are required to renew your medication management treatment plan.
