Cerebral offers clients the ability to choose their session preferences between video or phone sessions, with the exception of those using in-network insurance who must complete video sessions as per regulations. You have the flexibility to update your session preference to video or phone call at any time by navigating to the "My Account" tab in your client profile.
For video sessions, upon scheduling your session, you will receive an email confirmation containing a link to join your Clinician's virtual waiting room through a platform called Doxy. It can be helpful to click on this link before your session to familiarize yourself with the platform. At the scheduled session time, you will use the provided link to join your Clinician's virtual waiting room. If you encounter any issues connecting via video, your Clinician will contact you using the phone number listed on your profile to conduct the session.
Alternatively, if you prefer phone sessions, the email confirmation will include the number that your Clinician will call from for the session. Instructions on how to update your contact information will also be provided in case you need to be reached at a different number. At the scheduled session time, you will receive a call from your Clinician. In the event that you miss the initial call, you will receive a text reminder and a follow-up phone call.
